Gene Marmor was one of the top-runners at the old O'Hare Stadium (Schiller Park, Ill.) or wherever he chose to compete.  Marmor won three late model track championships at the banked, quarter-mile paved oval, taking the titles in 1956, 1957 and again in 1963.  Marmor is shown here at O'Hare in 1964 being congratulated by the track's "T-Bone The Clown" (Don Theobold) after scoring a win in his '64 Chevy convertible.
