Stock car feature winner Nick Trgovich (center, above the checkered flag) is congratulated by track owner Harry Molenaar (at right) after Trgovich's 1950 win. The track was then know as the New Schererville Speedway or sometimes simply - Molenaar's Half Mile. It would later become known as Illiana Motor Speedway.
