For the second time in his career, Gene Marmor won the Gold Trophy Race at Soldier Field, which benefitted the Chicago Park District Police Department.  In this 1955 photo, Marmor is joined by police officials, Chicago Mayor Richard J. Daley, TV personality Lee Phillip and promoter Andy Granatelli (holding the flag) after his win.
