WOLF LAKE SPEEDWAY

Today, a small island parcel sits in the middle of Wolf Lake near 123rd  Street and Calumet Ave.  In the 1930’s, this parcel was actually part of the lake front with the old one-mile track sitting west of it and the fifth-mile midget track being situated slightly to the southeast near the current boat dock at about 124th St.
